Hello!

Here are the latest improvements to the Legal Nodes Online Portal that will make handling your global legal tasks even easier.

NEW: Changes to documents and deliverables

We’ve made a few changes to our platform to make it easier for you to find your working documents and final deliverables:

• A “working document” is any file or link that you, your VLO, and/or your service providers are working on as part of a project
• A “deliverable” is the final version of a file (doc, pdf, xls)
• Once a deliverable is ready, your VLO will share it with you in your project chat so you can review and approve it
• Your VLO will then upload the deliverable to its related task within your project and you'll be able to download it

We’ve also made changes to our project layout, so you can quickly see deliverables connected to each task and download them.

If a task has more than one complete deliverable, all of them can be added to the task and downloaded from the project at any time.

Note: if none of your Project offers has already had deliverables attached, you won’t see any deliverables in your Documents tab yet.

We’ve also updated our Documents Tab so you can now see, search for, and download deliverables there too!

NEW: Perform platform-wide searches with our new search tool

If you want to find a specific document or a message quickly, you can now use our global search feature to save you from searching through your project cards instead!

You can find the search bar at the top of your screen.

Our platform-wide search bar lets you:

• Search your entire account, including closed projects
• Simply enter a word or phrase you’re looking for and hit search
• The results will show all the chats where your search terms have been mentioned in the text
• Click on the search result to go straight to the message in the chat where your search terms were mentioned

UPDATE: Get quicker insights with our optimized Legal Board design

We’ve made a few tweaks to our Legal Board design so that you can quickly see the most important details straight away, whilst getting a general overview of your projects and their progress.

• View the latest comments and messages in the project chat, highlighted at the bottom of the project card
• Quickly understand the status of each project with our updated designs
